Find the root cause
A deep dive into movement, strength, mobility, and the demands of your sport. We pinpoint exactly what is causing the pain. And why it keeps coming back.
Neck Pain
We relieve tension, restore clean movement, and get you back to lifting, climbing, and working without stiffness or headaches. Real gym. Hands-on.
We get it
Whether long workdays leave your neck stiff, heavy lifts create tension headaches, or climbing sessions lock you up for days, neck pain should not be a permanent companion. We help active adults relieve the real cause so you can get back to training, working, and moving without bracing for the next flare.
Diagnosis
Your neck works nonstop: stabilizing your head, reacting to movement, transferring force through your shoulders and spine. When something is off, you feel it during overhead lifting, climbing steep routes, long hours at the computer, driving and travel, running and cycling posture, and stressful days that build into headaches. Temporary relief is not the goal. Sustainable strength is.
The neck is the symptom. The system is the cause.
Neck pain commonly comes from weak deep neck stabilizers, limited thoracic mobility, poor scapular strength and control, breath mechanics and stress load, and repetitive overhead or desk postures that accumulate over time.
So we fix the system, not just the sore muscles. Cervical spine, upper back, scapula, and breathing patterns all get assessed.
Here is what we look for.
Most people stretch it, ice it, or wait it out. For active people, that is not a solution. It is a cycle.
We find the root cause.
Who we help
We help Fort Collins climbers, lifters, desk workers, and active adults whose necks do real work every day.
If any of this sounds familiar.
Whether you are grinding through a 50-hour workweek, sending routes at the gym, or working through a heavy press cycle. We build the strength and control to keep your neck out of the way.
You stay in your sport.
What we treat
Should I see a PT?
When you are dealing with neck pain, you might wonder whether physical therapy is the right next step, or whether posture changes, rest, or time will fix it. Here is the honest answer.
PT is the most effective first step when:
Neck pain is often shaped by how the neck works with the upper back, shoulders, posture, and breathing. By addressing these factors early, most people avoid unnecessary imaging and ongoing pain. They return to training and daily life with more confidence and less stiffness.

The Upslope Method
01
A deep dive into movement, strength, mobility, and the demands of your sport. We pinpoint exactly what is causing the pain. And why it keeps coming back.
02
Hands-on therapy, targeted mobility, graded loading. You feel relief in the first sessions, not the eighth. And you understand what changed.
03
Movement quality is restored. Now we build the foundation that keeps it. Real strength work in the gym to restore tolerance to load.
04
Coached back through your sport-specific demands until you train with confidence again.
Patient story
“My left shoulder and neck tension were affecting my day-to-day. Dr. Frankie tailored everything and used dry needling and cupping — it helped dramatically.”

Questions
No. Direct access in Colorado means you can come straight to us. No doctor visit first.
Most people see significant improvement in 6 to 10 weeks. Nerve symptoms or disc involvement may take a bit longer. We will know after the first session.
We train the neck as part of the whole system. Scapula, thoracic spine, breathing. That is why our results last instead of cycling through flare-ups.
