Runner Injuries

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, you are in the right place!

Many people suffer unnecessarily with running pain because they’re told…

At UpSlope Physical Therapy & Performance, We Help Runners get back on the course.

If you experience pain while running, it can be tricky to decide on the best course of action. People usually offer a lot of options, including…

Having too many choices can be daunting, and it’s hard to know if you’re making the right decision.

Most individuals struggle to come up with a plan for what they should do next. They go days, weeks, months (sometimes even years!) without doing anything at all.

When It Comes To Solving Something Serious Like a Running Injury…

Picking the right health care provider is crucial; if you don’t, you might get unnecessary surgery or end up hooked on painkillers.

Investing in the “least-invasive” and most natural treatment is key to preventing your pain from returning.

To be able to do that, you must not only treat the pain but also find a doctor who is interested in determining why the discomfort occurred in the first place. That’s when you’ll get a solution that will last.

At UpSlope PT & Performance we’ve created a 3 step process to get rid of your pain AND make sure it doesn’t come back again.

Step #1 - We Want To Listen To Your Story

It’s beyond frustrating when you have to wait weeks or even months for a 10-minute appointment with a doctor who rushes off to their next patient as soon as they’re done with you. You’re left feeling confused and wondering what just happened.

Even most physical therapy clinics, for example, are like this. They’re unresponsive, hurried, and your therapist doesn’t have the time to actually massage where you’re hurting.

This is why our first step is to listen to your story.

We’ve had a lot of experience working with many people who have running pain. We understand that no two individuals are alike. Every individual has a unique body, past, and distinct kinds of discomfort.

That is why our first step is to have an open conversation during which you may share your experience. We obtain a thorough knowledge of what’s going on not just with your body but also how it’s affecting your life by doing so.

Step #2 - Find Out WHY The Pain With Running Started

Many people have been given a medical diagnosis for what is causing their symptoms. Perhaps their doctor informed them of it, or perhaps tests revealed the diagnosis, or maybe you discovered it on the internet.

You could have been advised that the only alternative was to rest, take painkillers, or consider surgery.

Sometimes, they provide brief alleviation, but they don’t address the root cause of the problem.

We all have different reasons for our running pains. No two people share the same problem, caused by the exact same thing.

At UpSlope PT & Performance, we want to discover the root of your pain so that it disappears for good.

We understand that you still might be skeptical or unsure if physical therapy is right for you. That’s why we created our Discovery Visit.

Our Discovery Visits are meant specifically for those people who are skeptical, unsure, or have even been let down in the past. During the Discovery Visit you’ll find out what’s wrong, how long it’s going to take to fix it, and give you peace of mind that your problem can be fixed naturally!

STEP #3 - GET RID OF THE PAIN & KEEP IT FROM COMING BACK

This is when the magic happens. We create a unique strategy to help you…

…Get back to running without fear of the pain coming back.
…Be able to get back to your favorite courses
…Get back to your pre-injury running

Our best clients are those who are motivated and ready to win back their active lifestyle. (Even if they feel stuck right now!)

Schedule a free initial consultation to learn more about what we can do for you!

You dont have to sacrifice the runs you love over problems that can be fixed.

Sincerely,

Deciding to work with UpSlope PT was an easy decision. Brady makes it simple to schedule an appointment and get great care ASAP. I appreciated his openness and honesty when diving into the root cause of my hiking injury, treating more than just the superficial symptoms. He’s very knowledgeable and explains the “why” behind his treatment plan while providing first-rate care that helped me become stronger and pain-free. By paying directly, I was able to save time and money enabling me to get back on the hiking trails quickly and confidently.

I highly recommend Brady at Upslope. I had an irritated Achilles that was causing severe pain and hampering my ability to work-out and play basketball. As an older guy, I feared I might have to shut down for an extended period of time or worse, permanently. Luckily for me, Brady developed a series of exercises and stretches that provided some immediate relief and fully solved the issue in about a month. This was after over a half year of chronic pain – and I was able to achieve the results without having to give up basketball in the meantime. Brady then developed a program to increase my flexibility in my hips, knees and ankles. This program has greatly increased my mobility on the court and eliminated post game aches and stiffness. Thanks Brady. Feeling younger and extremely happy with the results.
